Earlobe inflammation In the case of an earlobe inflammation, the lower part of the ear, the soft part, is inflamed. This may be due to infection or allergy. Often an infection is caused by wearing earrings, for example if you have an allergy to nickel, which can cause an allergy or eczema all around the ear. In case of eczema, the skin is sensitive to infections or the appearance of skin fissure. Make sure the skin is well disinfected.
Traditionally, Tamanu-Oil is also used in this type of inflammation, it is even used in the auricle or auricula which is the visible part of the ear, to prevent ear infections.
Gently massage a few drops of pure Tamanu-Oil with your fingers or apply directly on to the affected skin. Make sure your fingers are clean before touching the affected skin. If you can not touch the skin because it is too sensitive, just apply a drop of pure Tamanu-Oil directly onto the affected skin. The Tamanu Oil 50ml, 100ml and 1000ml are provided with a dropper. Another alternative is to use a sterile gauze covered with pure Tamanu-Oil which can be applied directly on to the affected skin. Make sure that plenty of Tamanu-Oil is applied to the gauze.
